Excellent comprehensive scholarly worj
By A Customer
This is a professional (but easily readable) monography. It is very comprehensive and can be used as both a textbook and a handbook. The author is a well-known expert on the subject and he conveys his knowledge to the reader. Among the many books available, this one is the likeliest to be "the only one you must have if you can afford only one".4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.

I have been studying hypnotism for many years now. Saying that when I got this book I read it from front to back. It is a excellent resource for anyone practicing hypnotism.
Warning though: If you like the idea of hypnotism as a fad don't buy this book. This book is for people who use it as a desk reference and source of knowledge to help further their skills in the field of hypnotism.
If someone was going down the path of becoming a hypnotist as a professional then I would recommend this book to them first before any other.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.
